The Center offers opportunities to provide valuable support for mission-driven organizations, enable students to deliver social impact in multidisciplinary and cross-sector settings, and advance the social impact field.
Become a Board Fellowship Partner
The Center for Social Impact places qualified graduate students as non-voting Fellows on the governing boards of nonprofit organizations in Southeast Michigan. Fellows complete a board-level project and emerge from the program prepared to step into board leadership roles upon graduation. Find additional information about hosting a Fellow on your board.
Become an Impact Corps Partner
Impact Corps offers paid summer internships to Ross School of Business students in high-level positions with mission-driven organizations across the world. Impact Corps-Academic Year offers similar, SE Michigan internships during the school, and seminars for credit. Learn more about becoming an Impact Corps partner organization.
“This was a good balance—I got to apply skills that I’ve used in the past, while at the same time learning about the nonprofit world. My experience has been fantastic from all sides, and I’m thankful that I had the opportunity to apply the things I’ve been learning at Ross to an area that I care about, for an organization that’s doing it so well!”
— Ryan Whisnant, MBA/MS ‘10, Impact Corps Intern with the Urban Ecology Institute
