2018 Social Impact Challenge Kick-off

January 17, 2018 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Grad and undergrad students from all U-M schools and colleges are invited to participate in the 2018 Social Impact Challenge (SIC). This event marks the kickoff of the competition. The case statement will be presented live, and teams will hear from Challenge partners, content experts, and stakeholders. Important logistics and planning details will be covered as well.

This year’s Social Impact Challenge involves economic development in Detroit neighborhoods.  Details to follow.  Pizza will be provided.

All participating teams are required to have a representative at the Kickoff. In addition to further defining the case, the session will allow students in need of team members to network and find them.

Team registration is open and the deadline to register takes place soon after the kickoff. Team members from all schools at U-M may team up with each other.  If you don’t have a team yet, you will be able to form teams using our Teamfinder.
