2015 MBAX Experience
Since 2014 MBAs Across America has sent groups of MBAs on five-week road trips to work with visionary social entrepreneurs. In 2015, the Center for Social Impact sponsored a team of four Ross student to go on a 3,300 mile journey across the U.S.

The 2015 team — Brianna Brazell, MBA/MS ’17, Lily Hamburger, MBA ’16, Joe Price, MBA ’16, and Jourdan Sutton, MBA ’15 — spent several weeks traveling from Detroit, to Madison with Sector 67, Kansas City with Connecting for Good, Denver with Mile High Workshop, and Pikeville, KY with Bitsource.
In Detroit, they developed a go-to-market strategy for The Empowerment Plan, which employs formerly homeless single mothers as seamstresses to create coats that convert into sleeping bags for the homeless. The team was also involved with Detroit SOUP, Rock Venture Partners, Detroit Venture Partners, and Ponyride.
